MacWake is a battery health utility for macOS. It keeps your data on your Mac and collects only anonymous, non-identifying usage statistics to help improve the app.

What MacWake does not collect

MacWake has no user accounts, no advertising, and no tracking that identifies you. It never collects your name, email, location, files, browsing, or any personal information, and it never sells or shares data.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand which features are used and to catch problems, MacWake sends a small amount of anonymous usage data through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. These signals contain no personal data and cannot be tied back to you — for example, that the app launched, or that a battery-temperature alert fired. TelemetryDeck does not use advertising identifiers and does not track you across apps or websites.

Data stored on your Mac

Your settings, charge limit, and battery/session history are stored locally on your Mac. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Network connections

MacWake makes no other network connections.

Permissions

MacWake may ask to show local notifications (used only for fast-drain and high-temperature alerts) and, if you enable the Charge Limit feature, to install a small background helper that controls charging through the system management controller. The helper runs entirely on your Mac, controls only charging, and collects nothing. You can revoke notifications anytime in System Settings → Notifications, and remove the helper by turning the feature off.
